Switchplates

Hand-painted ceramic switchplate with Suzani motifs.

A crocodile skin embossed leather provides this switchplate with a lux rich texture.

The bamboo of this double switchplate creates an intriguing duo when paired with its smoke blue-colored paint.

A light switchplate is not often considered an heirloom, but when it's designed by Edgar Berebi it's certainly one for keeps, much like this one adorned in Swarovski crystals.

Cane Weave Chairs

The traditional rattan-woven back and mango frame of the Yasmina Side Chair is renewed with a high gloss finish and a modernized neutral tone.

For her outdoor Canasta Dining Chair, designer Patricia Urquiola used an enlarged cane weave pattern to weave strips of polyethylene over a powder-coated aluminum frame.

A double-backed rattan weave reinforces this charming Colonial Style Teak Armchair from Andrianna Shamaris Inc.

An intricate cane woven back marks this French Armchair as one of a kind.

If you're looking for statuesque tabletop art, look no further than Arteriors' Henley Sculpture, a marble-mounted abstract piece made of curved bands of brass.
