Trays

Celebrated luxury textile designer Mariano Fortuny can be credited with this Pergolesi Blue 24K gold tray. Fortuny's many skills and talents led him to acclaim well beyond textiles, including credits among modern inventions, like his creation of light dimmers!

The Harlekin tray is no doubt of Swedish mind. Designer Maria Dahlgren's Scandinavian roots show clear in this laminated birch tray, outfitted with a pattern that carries a quaint retro resolve.

These trays may look like crystal ware, but they're actually made of acrylic. From, of course, Italy, but available at New Orleans Magazine Street shop Hazelnut.
A brand relaunch has put pattern empire Marimekko back in the spotlight. The urban scene depicted on this laminated tray well represents the global appeal of this Finnish flagship.

Once corralled at its corners, this suede-lined leather becomes an exemplary catch-all tray. Gunmetal snaps further endorse this tray's masculine appeal.

Swedish company Ary Trays commissioned illustrator Leah Duncan to develop a piece on the theme of "the intersection between urban and organic." Above is the result. Its muse? A Texas highway lined with bluebonnet fields.

The Cloudy Day tray certainly stands out among decoupage great John Derian's vast vintage print collection.
