Rugs

Belgian artist Charlotte Lancelot’s Canevas collection, for Spanish brand Gan, proves cross-stitch can be very much in vogue.

Top among rugs' fashionable saturated trend is newcomer Hossein Rezvani. Rezvani's Persia Reinvented collection is a striking example of the delicate balance between traditional pattern and modern flare. Featured above, the silk-woven Bakhtiar Lilac.

Parsua’s floral Divane breathes new life into arts & crafts-styled rugs. Launched in 2001 by two antiques dealers, Parsua completes each rug’s production with a lay under the rays for a true sun-kissed patina.

Design duo Young & Battaglia took to digital printing to create the surreal Persian Cowhide Rug for their Mineheart brand.

The Node Rug, designed by Lesley Barnes, conjures a folklore theme.
